Hassan Garmiani is internationally certified Kung Fu master, martial artist, yoga and health enthusiast. He pioneered Kung Fu Toa in north America in early 90’s. Collectively he has thought martial art and well-being health systems for over 30 years to thousands of people of all ages. The style and method thought by him integrates the elements of Kung Fu, yoga, chi gong and modern fitness. He aims to effectively draw the elements relevant to health and well-being from traditional eastern modalities and modern fitness programs. Thus, the practitioner experience aspects of physical and mental faculty in comprehensive set of movements. Incorporating and unifying the mind and body in every practice is what he believes will result in fundamental change in one’s life. The physical movement together with correct nutrition and food intake fuels and rejuvenates the body in the right way, to achieve the healthy state of being one needs to work on all the universal elements. His philosophy is when you connect your body to mother nature by consuming a natural food, you heal and strengthen your body in cellular level.
He graduated from aerospace engineering program and he has been working for years on different aerospace projects with different companies. He is a senior aerospace engineer. In parallel to his engineering career he pursued his passion for martial arts, health and fitness.
Based in Toronto Canada, during the 90's, Hassan established himself as one of Kung Fu voices and transmitters of martial arts. He was official Kung Fu instructor at Ryrson University from 1994-1998. Hassan began studying Martial Arts and Zen meditation at the age of 12, and yoga at 25. He has black belt in Kung Fu, and he has been studying and sharing Yoga, Martial Arts and Zen meditation collectively for over 40 years. He has conducted many classes and demonstrations in community centers and sport clubs around Canada.
